On August 7, 2019, Voicelets was proud to be one of the distinguished presenters at the inaugural Voice of Education Summit, which took place at the Paramount Center at Emerson College.
Among many other voice based EdTech experts and entrepreneurs, the Voicelets team revealed the educator’s portal, showcased a step-by-step walkthrough of the process for creating a Voicelet, published a Voicelet, and did a live voice demo of the experience. In addition to this, attendees had the opportunity to hear from Voicelets’ earliest adopter, Dr. Maria Scott, who shared her experience of integrating this voice technology into her classroom. Dr. Scott was the first educator to create and use Voicelets to augment her students’ outcomes, in her undergraduate level class, Introduction to Public Relations.
In addition to this, Voicelets co-founder Garrick Gauch shared the values behind the company; to make sure that all students who learn in different and unique ways have the chance to sit in the same classroom, and have access to the tools that enhance their learning in their own individual way.
It was a valuable and productive day, packed with insights about how voice technology is being used in curriculum to offer students innovative methods of education.
